Welcome to Woodstock Christian School!

Welcome to our Woodstock Christian School website. If you are wondering what Woodstock Christian School is all about, I invite you to keep reading, to explore our website, and to come into the school for a tour or to speak with our staff.

The key words in the tag line for Woodstock Christian School are: Faith, Learning, Community.

We are excited about our school theme for 2017-2018, FAITH IN ACTION: HEROES FOR GOD. Who doesn’t love a hero story? As students walk through the doors and begin this new year, we seek to grow them in their faith, in their knowledge of creation, in their relationship with God, and their interactions with and service to others. What a wonderful source of blessing and wisdom we have in the Bible as we focus on Hebrews chapters 11 and 12 – our theme chapters for this year. What is faith? How do we live it out? The apostle Paul writes, “Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see” (Hebrews 11:1 NIV) and, “We are surrounded by a great cloud of people whose lives tell us what faith means” (Hebrews 12:1). This year, we will explore the stories and lives of those who lived “by faith” to discover that God uses ordinary, sinful people to accomplish his extraordinary purposes. Through these characters we will learn what it means to live a godly life, to be obedient active followers of Jesus, and to be present and active in our communities, sharing God’s story. We are part of that history, that ‘great cloud of witnesses’, and part of God’s story continues to unfold here and now in the lives of students and families. I ask for your prayers for our students, that they may grow in faith, knowledge, and wisdom.

We are excited by what our school has to offer and invite you to join us at Woodstock Christian School.
