How do I enroll my child?
Step 1 - Contact the school
Take the Tour
Book your tour with Joleen Mulder. She would love to book you a tour and answer questions. This is a great opportunity to look in on a class in session. Visiting is the best way to meet the teaching staff and get a real feel for what WCS is about and what we have to offer your child. We will send you home with an information package including detailed information about our exceptional educational programs, tuition options, and school policies.
Kindergarten Information Night
This is a special night for families with students entering JK and SK. The Kindergarten teachers will present details about the Kindergarten programs, and a typical school day for our students. The event will take place on Thursday, January 26, 2022 @ 7:45pm.
Step 2 - Fill out the enrollment form
If you have made the decision that this is the best school for your child’s elementary education, we request that you fill out the enrollment form. Along with the form, you'll need to provide copies of your child's birth certificate, health card and immunization record. For students entering higher grades we will need a copy of your child's latest report cards. As well, you will need to attach a cheque for $500 (post dated to September 1st).
Registration day is set for February 2, 2022 but we are open to receiving forms at any time.
Feel free to book an appointment with Joleen Mulder or drop in any Wednesday morning!
Step 3 - New parent Meetings
Families new to WCS are invited for an informal meeting with the Admissions team comprised of the Principal, Advancement Director and the board representative for membership. This is a good time to sit down together to get to know you better and to answer any question you may still have. We'll also discuss the school's expectations and what you as parents can expect from the school; what Christian education means at WCS; school programs and routines; special needs your child may have; tuition and payment process; transportation; and how to be come involved on the WCS community. These meetings are often scheduled during student visit days. Following the interview, the school board formally approves new family enrollments.
Step 4 - Tuition Payments
You will receive a tuition statement mailed to your home. This package also includes payment options and information on that process. Once tuition payments are in place, your child is officially registered.
